Ability to add subtasks underneath a task

It would be great to have this + have the ability to add these tasks while doing another task. So say my task is:
“Create a list of engineers to reach out to”
I would love to be able to add names of engineers to a list that becomes a task for me to then reach out to them.

Please don’t add subtasks. Unnecessary clutter. This app wins because of simplicity.

Any update on this… I think it would be a great addition.

It’s not necessary. I dont see slash as a PM tool. If you have subtasks (like a process of set of steps), use the Trello integration to add the steps to the card or just add the steps in the slash task note.

I agree - don’t add… this is about 1 basic thing at a time

Even an ability for notes would be really good or somewhere to attach stuff. If I schedule a call for example it would be really nice to list topics for that call etc.

@Chris Selim You can enable notes for tasks in the Settings :)

@Jordan Lejuwaan I was very excited about notes in the new update that being said, its a bit buggy. and isn’t as easy to see as subtasks might be. Also for the people who are against, put a way to turn them on and off. It’s helpful for those of us who need to have things in lists to report on them. Glad to see they are on the roadmap. Also solves the issue with todoist where lists are called projects we can now put them in proper lists for reporting on what category our tasks fall into each day. You guys are awesome!
