I only work with fullscreen window on Mac, swipe right or left to go through all on my “Desktop”.
I love the idea of Slash, but the Focus Bar only appear at the bottom of the screen, when I am not in Fullscreen mode.
I wish it could appear on every single desktop
@Loïc Recoquiller It is on every desktop already, but I’m not sure if it can be shown while in fullscreen mode. I think that kinda defeats the purpose of full screen :/ We’ll investigate and report back here.
@Jordan Lejuwaan Slidepad is a macOS app that shows an iPad-like screen on top of full screen apps!
@Pieter I’m guessing that’s a Native app, which offers you a lot more options than Electron app :/ We’ll look into it though!
I’m not familiar with Elektron but I also came across this discussion (with examples of an Elektron app that apparently uses a workaround) on https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/10078.
Anyways, I know this is probably a tough issue, but I really enjoy working fullscreen and this little timer is just the right size. In full screen mode I also don’t have the problem that other app’s functionalities/windows block it or are blocked by it, because I simply swipe them to multitask.
@Pieter Thanks so much for finding that! I implemented that hack, and it seems to work. Can you give it a go in the beta version of our app? https://github.com/jetlej/slash-beta-releases/releases
@Pieter Hmm we didn’t find a fix for this directly. Maybe it was indirectly fixed by something else! I’ll close this for now. Let me know if you run into it again
@Jordan Lejuwaan This feature is broken
@Jordan Lejuwaan It works perfectly again!
